Full-time Gift Industry Sales Representative
The M & M Sales Company, Manufacturers’ Representative providing sales and service to companies in the GIFT & STATIONERY industry, is seeking an entrepreneurial individual to join our team. “Dynamic” is the word our customers and manufacturers use to describe our unique sales organization, in business since 1978. We represent some of the top gift lines in the industry, including the 2018 Manufacturer of the year. We encourage all ages. Sales experience is preferred.
As a Sales Representative you will:
· Sell to established accounts and prospect a wide variety of new retail opportunities
· Drive sales in the Columbus and surrounding areas
· Present a unique assortment of gift and stationery products to retailers
· Write and process orders (will require laptop, ipad provided)
· Follow up with customers
We are looking for:
· A self-starter, detail oriented, highly organized, and has knowledge or is eager to learn about the gift industry
· A person who can develop a sales plan to grow new and existing accounts
· A person with exceptional customer service skills involving following up and follow through

The Service Support Person will provide consistent support to the territory sales person and manufacturers, maintaining greeting card programs in various accounts. This person should have good communication and organizational skills. A service person is capable of working independently, and scheduling their time efficiently. The company provides all necessary tools, including a company-issued iPad to perform the job.
-Managing in-store card programs, including using planograms, putting out orders, and placing reorders
-Maintaining consistent scheduled service as mandated by sales rep, company, or manufacturers
-Servicing multiple stores daily, geographically scheduled
-Training for all card lines, and using company references/guides issued
-Training on company software
-Collaborating with sales reps and manufacturers to maximize customers' greeting card sales
-Building relationships with store management and retail persons
-Executing display set-ups
-Communicating customer needs to sales rep or manufacturers-requires attention to detail
-Proficiency in using an iPad, Word, Excel, email skills, sending/receiving documents, and scanning
-Using a Smart Phone to send pictures
-Internet and a printer needed
-Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
